I plan on transforming how I do things as it pertains to weight loss, fitness, and my overall health. This has been a long time coming, and I've decided to make it public record for inspiration, motivation, and accountability...THIS IS IT!!!
I am embarking on this journey, and I'm doing so with a program called P90X. P90X is an extreme @ home fitness program, designed to transform your body in 90 days (which coincidentally mirrors what I'm trying to accomplish)...I will be sharing my journey on this blog, as well as pictures of my progress for all to see...I'm ready...THIS IS IT!!!
In order to be successful at a program like this or any program for that matter, the most important factor is the why...why am I doing this? Why will I succeed and not fail? Why will I give it my all and not quit? Well, I have a few reasons, and I will list them here...
- Because I know it's time to make better choices of what I put in my body
- Because I've become sedentary and I need to improve my strength and endurance
- Because I have a wife and young son to care for
- Becuase I want to be in the best shape of my life
- Because I don't want to have heart disease, or high blood pressure
- Because I want to do a photoshoot
- Because I want to be healthier, live longer, sleep and breathe better
- Because I want to play sports actively again without fatigue and sluggishness
- Because my body is my "temple"
- Because I want to look good naked
- Because I want to prove to myself I can do it
- Because I'm 31 and I wand to be as youthful as I can
- Because I need this challenge
- Because I don't want to be another statistic
- BECAUSE I LOVE MYSELF ENOUGH TO BECOME THE BEST ME EVER
So, this is day one, and over the next 90 or so days, I am looking forward to sharing my experiences with you...I'll post new pictures every 30 days, and I will keep a daily track of my workout regimen, how sucessful I completed them, and my diet as well...if you didn't know by now...THIS IS IT!!!
